Aging Services
The Council on Aging works with older adults to provide programs and services designed to maintain independence, often making it possible for the older adults to stay in their own homes.
The Roosevelt County Coordinator who oversees the staff, budgets and services provided throughout the county works closely with representatives. The County Council is made up of various communities located across the county as well
as a representative from the Retired Volunteer Program and a County Commissioner. The County Council provides valuable insights into the specific needs.
Services are available to anyone 60 years of age or older and their spouse regardless of age. These services have no income guidelines and all programs are open to all and encourage contributions by the participants.
Staff in each county help with any and all questions and problems and provide assistance in accessing and applying for other assistance programs.
Roosevelt County has five service areas: Wolf Point, Poplar, Culbertson, Bainville and Froid
