Immunizations

The Roosevelt County Health Department strongly recommends the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination for children aged 11 to 12 years old. The HPV vaccination at this age is known to provide stronger protection against cervical and other forms of cancer than when started at ages 15 and older.

In coordination with the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, we provide vaccines through the “Vaccines for Children” program. No child is denied vaccine due to inability to pay

All routinely recommended adult vaccines are offered; RCHD accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances.

Influenza vaccine is provided to everyone aged 6 months and older. Flu shot clinics are held annually each October in Wolf Point, Poplar, Froid, Bainville, and Culbertson.

Immunizations are provided for all age groups.
